Malan Breton unveiled his Autumn/Winter 2025-2026 collection at London Fashion Week, held at the Royal Horseguards, drawing inspiration from themes of mystery and Eastern mythology.

As we enter the Year of the Snake, Malan Breton’s collection makes its grand entrance, intertwining the mystique of Eastern folklore with the lavishness of Victorian couture and the delicate grace of Asian silks. This collection is a captivating journey of transformation, wisdom, and rebirth, resembling a living legend where the past meets the future, and fantasy merges with reality.

Rich in high-shine metallics, luxurious silks, and elaborate embroidery, each garment captures the seductive essence of the serpent, reflecting its celestial significance in Asian culture. Unlike the Western view of the snake as a symbol of temptation, in Eastern mythology, it symbolizes evolution, intuition, and immortality. Breton embodies this spirit through designs that showcase both strength and sensuality, featuring corseted waists, flowing trains, and a striking contrast between structured forms and fluid movement.

A captivating live performance by Johnny Hates Jazz enhances the atmosphere, their hauntingly beautiful melodies resonating with the collection's themes of nostalgia, transformation, and contemporary elegance. Inspired by the legendary White Snake—Bái Sùzhēn, an ethereal figure who transforms into a human for love—this collection beautifully blends fluid femininity with assertive masculinity, merging Victorian opulence with Eastern sophistication.

More than just fashion, this collection represents mythology reborn through silk and embroidery, telling a tale of power, beauty, and reinvention.

The show took place at the Royal Horseguards and the Gladstone Library in London, presented by The British Fashion Council during London Fashion Week. The hair team was led by Philipp Haug in collaboration with Schwarzkopf UK, while the beauty team, directed by Jo Sugar, utilized products from West Barn Co, Tablette Palette, and Skinician. The music was composed and performed by Johnny Hates Jazz, with contributions from Malan Breton and a cinematic mix by DJ Marc Baigent.
